James Pace

Pastor Pace has been serving God’s people in ministry for over 20 years. He gave his life to Christ in 1990 at New Hope Chapel COGIC (Vallejo,Ca.) under Supt. E. L. “Billie” Jones. He later accepted the calling on his life and was ordained as a Deacon in 1992. The Lord called him up a little higher and in 1994, he became a licensed Minister of the gospel. Two years later, he was ordained as an Elder in the Church of God in Christ by Bishop Lafar B. Johnson (Prelate of California Northeast Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction).

Pastor Pace has worked in various positions throughout the church. He served as the YPWW teacher, Sunday School teacher, Bible Band teacher, Director of Christian Education, Church Administrator/ Secretary, Trustee Board member, Youth Pastor, District Youth President, Jurisdictional Youth President (Ca. Northeast 2002-2007) and the Assistant Pastor of Ennis Chapel COGIC (Richmond,Ca. 2009-2013)

Pastor Pace received his formal training at Laney College with his focus in Management and Supervision. He then went on to biblical studies at C. H. Mason Bible College. He retired with 20+ years of service in the Active and Reserve Armed Service and presently has 20+ years of service in Law Enforcement.
